The journey to find love has never been deemed an easy one. Once you have found love, falling is easy, but finding it and keeping it (the bulk of the journey) is the hard part. One woman decided to take that extra step to potentially find love, and instead got turned into a joke. (A pretty good burn, if you ask us.)
She had thrown a party when a friend showed up later a little too drunk for their own good. So they had to call the paramedics for them. When you dial 9-1-1, sometimes you get more than what you bargain for—in this case, they got firemen and, apparently, cupid. This girl who was just trying to help her friend locked eyes with a fireman who she was certain was meant to be her future husband. However, through all the chaos, she didn't get to talk to him.
She tried to find him, doing the usual internet searches to see if she can figure out who this fireman was, but with no luck. Finally in a last desperate attempt, she drew a crude stick-figure version of this man. It's a poorly draw figure, but miraculously it worked! She found her mystery lover. Bad news, however, he is already married with kids. So her plans for love went out the window.
But not all was lost! A few months later she got a good chuckle from her situation when she found out the stick-figure drawing she made of her fireman crush became such a hilarious inside joke between the station, that they turned it into a mug.
